Remove 'cmt config' step during checkout phase — at Initial Version

Description
If I do cmt co on a package it also by default executes cmt config after the checkout.
Can I do the checkout with some option so that the "cmt config" is not executed after the code is taken from CVS
something like cmt co -noconfig ? Does something like this exists ?
