198 | EUSO-Balloon, a reduced version of the future space telescope JEM-EUSO, but with similar instrumentation, is being built to serve as a pathfinder embarked in the gondola of a stratospheric balloon. It is by itself a complete autonomous instrument capable to perform same kinds of measurements as JEM-EUSO. This telescope will be operational for CNES balloon campaigns next year. |
