Workshop actions

QuattorFS: backport to 2.4 done and in the repository

Monitoring: work in progress

• Ronald: working on merging NIKHEF additions into standard templates
• Christos: packaging of Quattor-related probes delayed until new version of EGI Nagios is available

New SPMA: not tested yet at GRIF and no other site tested it yet

• Luis to test it on one test instance at CERN

Pan 8.4.5: GRIF, NIKHEF deployed it successfully

• CNAF already using 8.4.4, upgrade planned soon

New build tools: not ready yet, some cleaning required

Development process

Scrum idea discussed at RAL adopted. Details to be refined after some experience.

Proposal

• Monthly sprints: sprint backlog to be discussed at monthly meeting
• Weekly or bi-weekly standup to monitor progress on sprint backlog

Initialization

• Michel will produce asap an initial backlog as a wiki page, consolidating actions from last workshops and other known issues/ideas
  • Backlog will cover all parts of Quattor toolkit, including documentation, not just QWG
• Discussion on quattor-devel about the initial backlog
• Implementation of the backlog in a SF tracker for easier management and follow-up: some tests to be done with tracker groups and categories (Michel/Nick)
• First sprint to be started at next workshop
