This page contains the backlog for the sprint due on March the 15th, 2011. It updated weekly after the standup meeting. Most actions are tracked in Trac tickets.

Documentation

• Better integration of former MediaWiki content into existing sections (Michel)
• Import BEGrid wiki page on Quattor wiki and update with RAL experience (James)
• Wikipedia: reference to sites using Quattor in external links section (all)

Build tools

• Testing of new build tools (Luis, Nick, + others)
  • luis succeeded with ncm-accounts. It was pretty easy. Luis will follow-up to check that all the information in the wiki is correct. Nick will try out with another account
• Tool to convert from old to new build tools (Cal)

Configuration Modules

• New ncm-spma migration strategy for QWG (Michel/Victor)

RHEL6/SL6 support

• Initial list of issue found in Quattor and QWG (Nick)
  • A few issues during first tests at CERN. See ​https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/ELFms/VmRhes6
  • 17/2 - not done yet. still to be created.

QWG

• Implement OS namespace improvement (Michel)
  • vendor/version-arch or vendor/version/arch for OS templates
• Update CAF/LC to last versions (Michel)
• Agree on Pan annotation tags

gLite

• Argus machine type documentation (Jerome)
  • 17 Feb: looks like it's been done, waiting for confirmation from Jerome.
• CE tags publishing: fix for lcg-tags --sc
• DPM/xrootd: add support for multiple principals

SCDB

Monitoring

• Complete integration of NIKHEF improvements to add flexibility and support hierarchy of Nagios servers (Ronald)
• Gather the information on existing Quattor-related probes at sites (Christos)
  • 17 Feb: waiting for test of build tools, will get help from Cal/Luis.

SINDES

• Put it in Quattor repository (Luis/James)
  • 3/2: delayed until official confirmation by CERN KTT about the agreement.
  • 17/2: moving slowly. Ian currently at CERN and hope to get an update before the next sprint meeting.

Web site

• Document use of TERENA certificate with Firefox 3.6 and Safari on landing page (David)
• Enable Trac indexing by robots (Michel)
• Calendar of events on the wiki or in SF (David)
  • May use "news" feature rather than calendar
• Automatic redirect/content removal on former Quattor site
• Discussion on wishes related to navigation menu behaviour

Miscellaneous

• Use of Git in addtion to SVN at SF (Michel)
• Review changes during the SourceForge security incident (Cal, Christos)
