Completed Actions

Documentation

• Review/improve documentation for Quattor contributors (Devlopers' Corner)

Configuration Modules

• New ncm-spma migration strategy for QWG (Michel/Victor)
  • Will be formally completed when the next QWG release is produced but already in trunk

gLite support

• glexec support on WN
  • 7/7: done and committed

CDB

• Replace cake by a panc invocation through ant
  • Story: ease integration of new Pan compiler version into CDB (dependencies managed by panc ant task used by SCDB and Aquilon), easier access to Pan options to control parallelism and serialization with a large number of profiles.
  • Still some testing required with dependencies management but action only on CERN, no development required

SCDB

• Rewrite VOConfigTask to use the new XML format used by VO Cards

Monitoring

• Complete integration of NIKHEF improvements to add flexibility and support hierarchy of Nagios servers (Ronald)

Miscellaneous

• Migrate panc to a Git repository

Actions still in progress after this sprint

Build tools

• Use of new build tools for all NCM components
  • Depends partly on #258
  • Target only 1 or 2 components as the first step

Configuration Modules

• ncm-network full rewrite
  • Basic component ok, progressing...
• ncm-dpmlfc: rewrite without dabase-related functions and use ncm-mysql to configure the database (changes required in DPM/LFC templates)
  • Direct mysql management removed, updating templates to use ncm-mysql
• ncm-gip2 should use perl-CAF to execute commands rather than `$cmd`

RHEL6/SL6 support

• Initial list of issue found in Quattor and QWG (Nick)

QWG

• Implement OS namespace improvement (Michel)
  • vendor/version-arch or vendor/version/arch for OS templates
• Update CAF/LC to last versions (Michel)
• Agree on Pan annotation tags
• KVM support outside StratusLab (Jérome)
  • Discuss with Cal what can be reused in configuration modules developped by StratusLab

gLite support

• CE tags publishing: fix for lcg-tags --sc
• CE configuration: allow different list of VOs on different CEs sharing the same gridmapdir

Monitoring

• Gather the information on existing Quattor-related probes at sites (Christos)

Web site

• Configure browsing of SF Git repositories on QWG Trac (Michel)

Build tools

• Tool to convert from old to new build tools (Cal)

SINDES

• Put it in Quattor repository (James/Jan)
  • Planned after deployment of SNDES v2 in production at CERN (target date : Christmas 2011)
