Standard Pan Templates

To facilitate the use of the pan language and to minimize the overhead when starting, a set of standard pan templates are available in the quattor distribution. These templates are named "pan/types", "pan/functions", and "pan/units" that contain, respectively, common type definitions, functions for common pan idioms, and units.
